Roles & Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead, organize, and oversee business development activities within the shipping and trading sector.
  • Drive company growth by developing, maintaining, and enhancing client networks and business systems.
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities while strengthening long-term relationships with existing clients.
  • Oversee commercial operations, ensuring compliance with shipping regulations and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline operations, optimize logistics, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Provide strategic direction to expand the company's presence in international shipping and commodity trading markets.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in the shipping and trading industry, with proven leadership in executive roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of bulk commodities such as coal, gypsum, and fertilizers.
  • Strong expertise in international trade, import/export processes, shipping logistics, chartering, and Incoterms.
  • Demonstrated success in developing new business, managing key client accounts, and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills, with the ability to inspire and manage cross-functional teams.
  • Strong business acumen and proven ability to navigate complex global markets.
