ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Partner with country sales leadership to develop and implement business strategies which will meet short- and long-term training needs.
Establish strategic initiatives in optimizing training programs and deliveries.
Facilitate effective learning through a variety of delivery methods including classroom instruction, virtual training, and on-the-job learning.
Lead and collaborate with a team of regional sales trainers who stretch their roles on top of their sales manager roles.
Consult with Regional Leaders to provide solutions to the APAC Senior Leadership Team in the development and adoption of sales force development programs and initiatives.
Enhance sales training effectiveness through recommendations of best practices, tools, concepts, and influence on strategic direction and execution.
Provide robust implementation evaluation and enable decision making on initiatives and investments. Help the APAC sales force enhance sales effectiveness and productivity.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Review and analyze sales training & development outcomes to provide business leaders proactive advice as a valuable business partner.
Participate actively in key management and business review meetings to understand strategic business trends and direction.
Partner with commercial leaders to design, develop, and follow-through on annual Training Needs Analysis (TNA).
Collaborate to enhance sales force commercial capabilities through fundamental sales training programs like TCST and TCST Coaching to Win.
Provide relevant findings of post-training to the SLT and country leadership team. Ensure effective execution of APAC Sales Leader Development Roadmap plans.
Proactively assess sales skill development needs for new and existing employees based on business and strategic direction.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting of training data and activities to the senior leadership team.
Manage expenses to ensure that we are within AOP budget.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or other relevant degrees.
JOB EXPERIENCE
Preferably 10+ years of commercial experience in sales, marketing, sales training, human resources, distributor management, or relevant background.
Knowledge of instructional design, development & delivery of training programs.
Experience and passion for conducting training and facilitation.
Experience working in cross-cultural and matrix organizations.
Experience in project management and change management.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
Excellent communication skills regarding presenting analytic results to senior leadership.
Excellent interpersonal skills and handling conflicts.
Strategic thinking with diverse perspectives, and a team player.
High level of business acumen and understanding of sales, marketing, operations, and other functional areas.
Assertive and influential business support in a respectful manner.
Excellent command of English (verbal and written).
Empathetic, good listener - involves others and provides recognition.
Timely execution of training programs for desirable outcomes.
Demonstrate high integrity and ethical standards.
