Software Engineer Role

We are seeking an exceptional Software Engineer to join our team in Singapore. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining scalable, high-performance, and secure web applications.

This role requires expertise in both frontend and backend development, cloud technologies, DevOps automation, and application security. Engineers will work in an agile, DevOps-driven environment to ensure software quality, security, and maintainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Owning end-to-end application development across frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Designing, developing, and maintaining responsive, accessible, and performant web applications.
  • Implementing modern frontend architectures emphasizing reusability, scalability, and security.
  • Developing robust backend services and APIs ensuring reliability, security, and observability.
  • Collaborating with QA engineers to ensure automated test coverage and bug fixes.
  • Optimizing CI/CD deployment strategies for seamless, automated releases.
  • Working with DevOps teams to automate infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and cloud deployments.
  • Ensuring security across the full stack (authentication, authorization, API security, frontend best practices).

Requirements:

  • A degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer/Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
  • Strong proficiency in both frontend and backend development.
  • Experience with Git and modern workflows (GitFlow, trunk-based development).

Technical Skills:

  • Frontend Development: JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, Next.js, Vue.js, Angular, Svelte.
  • Backend Development: Node.js (Express.js, NestJS), Ruby on Rails, Java/Kotlin (Spring Boot), Python (Django, Flask, FastAPI), Golang.
  • Observability & Monitoring: APM tools, Logging frameworks, Dashboarding & alerting for real-time monitoring.
  • DevOps, Cloud, and Infrastructure: CI/CD, Cloud platforms, Containerization & orchestration, Infrastructure as Code.

Bonus / Nice-to-Have Experience:

  • Low-code platforms, Micro-frontends & modular frontend architectures, Edge computing.
