Job Title: Supply Chain Operations Specialist
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Operations Specialist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who has a proven track record in logistics and supply chain management.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all stock levels are accurately monitored and managed, identifying purchasing needs and updating inventory records accordingly. They will also be responsible for purchasing supplies according to approved specifications, tracking orders, and ensuring timely delivery of suppliers.
In addition, the Supply Chain Operations Specialist will coordinate with outlets on stock supplies and demands, ensuring timely delivery to outlets. They will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Stock Management: Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs, update inventory records, and maintain accurate records of stock levels, quality, and quantity.
- Purchasing: Purchase supplies according to approved specifications, track orders, and ensure timely delivery of suppliers.
- Coordination: Coordinate with outlets on stock supplies and demands, ensure timely delivery to outlets, and maintain communication with the procurement and logistics team.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven Experience: Proven experience in a related position, preferably in logistics or supply chain management.
- Highly Organized: Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Negotiation and Communication Skills: Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
- Multi Tasking and Time Management Skills: Ability to multitask and manage time effectively, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
