Job Responsibilities
Assist guests in setting up and dismantling AV equipment for events.
Inspect and maintain AV equipment to ensure proper condition and functionality.
Set up equipment in function rooms and outdoor catering events as per Banquet Event Orders (BEO).
Coordinate with contractors regarding AV projects and communicate effectively.
Perform duties assigned by the AV Manager, including special projects.
Ensure proper and secure storage of all AV equipment, including guest equipment.
Clean and prepare AV equipment for use to ensure presentation quality.
Operate lighting, sound, and AV equipment as instructed by the AV Manager.
Conduct inventory checks of all AV equipment periodically.
Schedule and oversee AV-related aspects of events, including air-conditioning and digital signage.
Maintain organization and tidiness of AV stores and rooms.
Ensure availability of all necessary equipment for events.
Qualifications
Minimum 1 to 2 years of relevant experience with related certifications.
Good command of spoken and written English, with strong communication skills.
Interpersonal skills and flexibility in working hours.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Familiarity with hotel facilities, services, fire, and evacuation procedures.
