Procurement Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled procurement specialist to manage our supply chain effectively.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to ensure timely delivery of critical materials and components.
  • Negotiate and manage supplier contracts to optimize costs, lead times, and quality.
  • Analyze market trends, supplier performance, and inventory levels to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with production and sales teams to align procurement activities with business requirements.
  • Implement and maintain robust inventory management systems to minimize stock-outs and excess inventory.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • At least 2-3 years' experience in a procurement or supply chain role, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
  • Strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and components.

Suitable candidates should possess strong negotiation skills, a deep understanding of commodity markets, and the ability to analyze supplier performance. They should also be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
