Ceiling Fan Installation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Ceiling Fan Installation Specialist to join our team. As a Ceiling Fan Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, assembling, and mounting ceiling fans safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe and timely manner.
  • Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction.
  • Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients.
  • Assessing the site where the ceiling fan is to be installed to determine the most appropriate location for the fan.
  • Ensuring that the ceiling is strong enough to support the weight of the fan and creating a suitable mounting location.
  • Installing and assembling the ceiling fan, wiring it to the electrical system, and mounting it securely to the ceiling safely and efficiently.
  • Testing the ceiling fan to ensure it is functioning properly and identifying any electrical or mechanical issues.
  • Cleaning up the site after installation, including removing debris and packaging materials.
  • Providing advice and guidance to customers on how to use and maintain the fan, as well as answering questions about the installation process and products.
  • Providing a comprehensive range of electrical services, including pulling electrical wires, installing power switches, and other tasks as required.
  • Performing false ceiling works with customisability to meet client-specific needs and requirements.
  • Abiding by transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
  • Daily and weekly reporting to direct manager.
  • Other tasks as required by the immediate supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Experience in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing ceiling fans is an advantage.
  • Handyman experience will be an asset.
  • Ability to walk, drive, lift, and carry heavy items for extended periods.
  • A valid driver's license and ability to drive a 10-foot lorry/van.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable working a 6-day week (Monday to Saturday, 9am to 6pm).
