Job Summary
The Childcare Teacher is responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for children to feel comfortable, and ensuring high-quality learning or care takes place. They will maintain professional dialogue with colleagues concerning the children, parents, other colleagues, and the school.
The ideal candidate will undertake all aspects of classroom management, observing and recording children's holistic development. The teacher will keep accurate records of achievement for each child in class and provide individual child portfolios/reports.
A positive link between the teacher and parents of children under their care is essential. The successful candidate will possess good interpersonal and communication skills, have a passion for children, and be able to work independently as well as in a team.
The role also requires delivering English Language lessons. To be eligible for this position, candidates must possess at least one of the following certifications:
* Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY)
* Higher Certificate in Infant Care (HCIC)
* DPT / DPL Certificate (L1 or L2)
Candidates must also be registered with ECDA as EY1 or EY2 or L2 or L1, have good communication and interpersonal skills, and be fresh graduates are welcome.
