Financial Controller Position

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies that align with operational and growth objectives.
  • Provide timely and accurate financial insights to support executive decision-making.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and strategic planning processes.

IPO Readiness & Corporate Structuring:

  • Support the executive team in preparing for a potential public listing (IPO), including financial reporting compliance, governance, and documentation.
  • Work closely with external advisors, auditors, and regulatory bodies on listing requirements and due diligence matters.
  • Strengthen corporate governance, internal controls, and financial transparency to align with listing standards.

Construction Finance & Project Costing:

  • Oversee project accounting functions including budgeting, billing, variation orders, cost tracking, and profitability analysis.
  • Liaise with project managers to ensure accurate financial management of ongoing contracts and tender submissions.
  • Manage cash flow projections and funding requirements specific to project lifecycles.

Financial Operations & Compliance:

  • Ensure full compliance with statutory and tax regulations.
  • Oversee financial audits, tax filings, and regulatory submissions in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor robust internal controls and accounting policies.

Leadership & Team Development:

  • Lead, coach, and develop the finance team to ensure optimal performance and succession readiness.
  • Promote a high-performance culture that values collaboration, integrity, and continuous improvement.
