Job Title: Regional Internal Audit Professional

The main objective of this role is to support the regional audit department in its mission to evaluate and improve risk management, control, and governance processes for MC offices and subsidiaries in Asia-Oceania.

Audit assignments will be conducted in accordance with MC's internal audit regulation and IIA standards. Recommendations will be provided to auditees for improving their management practices.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting audits in a professional manner, adopting best practices and appropriate procedures.
  • Drafting recommendations for improving risk management, control, and governance processes.
  • Preparing audit working papers and reports.
  • Evaluating and ensuring follow-up plans are prepared by each office and subsidiary, with appropriate counter measures and timely implementation.
  • Providing findings to personnel in-charge of the audit assignment for further action.
  • Maintaining records of audit reports, evidence, and other documents.
  • Understanding company rules, including MC's regulations, and staying up-to-date with expertise.
  • Guiding and training other relevant employees.
  • Performing other responsibilities, special assignments, and tasks as directed by the Department Head.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in any discipline or equivalent.
  • Good command in English language to speak, read, and write at business level for effective communication with counterparties in Asia-Oceania region.
  • Proficiency in Japanese language (reading comprehension) is an added advantage.
  • Willingness to travel for overseas business trips when required.
  • Professional certification in CPA/CIA is preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in internal audit/internal control/accounting.
