UAT Finance Transformation Lead

Company / Role Overview This role leads end-to-end user acceptance testing for a large-scale finance transformation initiative, ensuring new finance, accounting, and reporting processes are effectively validated before go-live. Operating within a multi-year global programme, the position oversees testing strategy, planning, and execution across multiple business units, while partnering closely with project leadership and technical teams. The environment is highly collaborative, change-driven, and focused on modernising finance operations through automation, standardisation, and enhanced data integrity. Key Responsibilities Lead the full UAT lifecycle, including test strategy, planning, execution, and sign-off across multiple business units. Oversee test preparation, including defining objectives, methodologies, timelines, and required environments. Manage user testing teams, ensuring accurate defect logging, progress tracking, and adherence to governance standards. Review and validate test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage of functional and non-functional requirements. Report regularly on testing progress, risks, issues, and mitigation plans to key stakeholders. Produce final test completion reports to support business acceptance and readiness for deployment. Job Requirements 10+ years' experience in large-scale testing, programme delivery, or similar transformation initiatives. Strong expertise in ERP finance systems, including general ledger and sub-ledger processes (cloud systems preferred). Proven leadership of multi-location teams and experience across various testing phases (unit, functional, SIT, E2E, UAT). Solid understanding of finance data flows, operational accounting processes, and reporting structures. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving capabilities. Additional certifications in delivery or test management and prior exposure to the insurance sector are advantageous.
