We're now looking for an AI & Technology Architect to lead the development of the technology and AI systems that power Genie Health's core platform.

As Genie Health's AI & Technology Architect, you will be responsible for designing the architecture, infrastructure, and deployment of both the AI capability as well as front end and back-end web and app capabilities that enable our AI models to securely process, learn from, and serve health insights at scale.

You'll work closely with data scientists, backend engineers, and product teams to ensure our AI systems are robust, secure, compliant, and scalable — from experimentation to production.

• Architect end-to-end engineering and AI/ML systems for ingesting, processing, and serving multi-modal health data (structured & unstructured) as well as web and mobile technology
• Define technical standards for model lifecycle management, including training, testing, deployment, monitoring, and retraining.
• Build infrastructure that ensures data security, privacy, and compliance (HIPAA, PDPA, GDPR).
• Enable smart use of open source and non open source technologies that can scale with the growth of the consumer app
• Collaborate with data scientists to operationalise models into production environments with low latency and high reliability.
• Evaluate and integrate AI frameworks, APIs, and tools for scalability and performance.
• Lead technical decision-making on cloud infrastructure, technology architecture, pipelines, and MLOps practices.
• Drive innovation by staying updated on AI trends, healthcare AI regulations, and emerging technologies.
• Help set up AI based coding platforms and frameworks as well as measurement systems
• Demonstrate ability to straddle the traditional architect role alongside AI related needs.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in AI/ML architecture or MLOps leadership.
• Expertise in building scalable cloud based systems, AI systems in Python, security , and containerised environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proven experience with cloud platforms ( AWS, GCP, or Azure ) for AI workloads.
• Strong knowledge of Back end tools, AI poweewd QA tools, data engineering tools (Airflow, Spark, Kafka) and model serving frameworks (TF Serving, TorchServe, MLflow).
• Deep understanding of security and compliance requirements in handling sensitive data.

• Experience with healthcare data formats (HL7, FHIR) and interoperability standards.
• Familiarity with privacy-preserving AI techniques (federated learning, differential privacy).
• Exposure to real-time health data processing and streaming analytics.
