And if that’s you we would love to have you join us Senior Embedded Software Engineer Singapore As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will play an important role in the design, development, testing, and support of embedded software for next‑generation Adapters and IOs. You are expected to adhere to engineering best practices and processes while collaborating with a global team of professionals. You will actively participate in or lead technical reviews with your peers, aiming to resolve problems early in the development phase. We are looking for you to meet project milestones and deadlines, demonstrating experience creating system documentation and ensuring reliability. Furthermore, you will excel in a diverse, multicultural team environment, contributing to collective success while also being able to work independently. You will report to the Engineering Manager – Firmware and follow a hybrid working schedule in Singapore. Your Responsibilities Design and develop firmware and embedded software for cutting‑edge Adapters and IOs. Participate in technical reviews to identify issues early and propose solutions. Deliver project outcomes promptly. Contribute to a positive, innovative, and inclusive team culture. Educational Qualifications Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, with a focus on Embedded Software Engineering or a Master’s in Computer Science. Experience Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in developing real‑time embedded systems. Technical Skills Knowledge of programming in C and C++. Experience in industrial control systems is advantageous. Proficiency in programming 32‑bit microcontrollers (preferably ARM) and developing low‑level device drivers. Solid knowledge of RTOS and experience developing embedded applications using RTOS. Experience with communication protocols like TCP/IP, CIP. Knowledge of Secure Coding CERT C/C++ Standard is an advantage. Experience in security development processes is an advantage. Familiarity with unit testing methodologies. Experience using various hardware‑assisted debugging tools. Familiarity with Agile processes, static analysis tools, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
