About the company Our client is a major semiconductor OEM looking for a Global Category Manager. Success in this role hinges on possessing a strong technical understanding of Equipment Front End Modules (EFEMs), as you will be responsible for managing this critical component category worldwide. About the job Develop and execute the comprehensive global EFEM Category Strategy, covering all sub-components (e.g., robotics, load ports, and controllers). Align sourcing strategy with technology roadmaps, business goals, and key stakeholder requirements. Conduct market research and qualify new suppliers to meet the company's future technical and commercial requirements. Collaborate with R&D and Engineering to ensure sourcing decisions are fully aligned with equipment specifications and fab integration needs. Partner with engineering, NPI and manufacturing teams to understand technical requirements and ensure supplier capabilities. Support new product introductions (NPIs) by aligning sourcing strategies with design and production timelines. Skills and experience required Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, Supply Chain, or related field. At least 10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or category management in semiconductor.
