The Senior Data Analyst (Planning & Inventory) is responsible for driving inventory performance across Leica Microsystems Singapore manufacturing site through data-driven planning, forecasting, and process optimization. The incumbent will play a pivotal role in plantwide inventory management (IMAG) by designing, controlling, and tracking inventory across Medical, Applied, and Optics segments. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Assembly & Production Scheduling and is part of the Manufacturing and Operations team, located in Singapore, and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Develop and maintain inventory forecasts aligned with production schedules and customer demand; drive actions to meet inventory turn targets. Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits; manage excess and obsolete inventory in collaboration with Supply Chain. Partner with Product and Project Management teams to support Phase-In Phase-Out (PIPO) planning and execution. Lead digitalization and process improvement initiatives to enhance inventory visibility and planning accuracy using lean and automation tools. Analyze inventory metrics (e.g., fill rate, stock accuracy, ageing) and deliver actionable insights through monthly and quarterly reporting. The essential requirements of the job include: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in inventory planning or supply chain, preferably in manufacturing or high-tech environments. Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP), advanced Excel, and inventory planning tools. Experience with digitalization projects and data analytics platforms. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
