SCHOLAR DEVELOPMENT AND CARE LEAD=DREAMS (Singapore) Limited is a first-of-its-kind secular, co-ed weekday residential model that provides after-school academic and holistic support to promising and aspiring children from low-income households. We aim to empower them to dream of a future where they are not limited by family circumstances.We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as aScholar Development and Care Lead. This individual will be responsible for the daily running of =DREAMS, staff development, and scholar success. The successful candidate will have experience managing a diverse team and be involved in schools or residential leadership roles.If you believe that relationships matter and know how to uncover talents and build strengths in others, we would like to engage you.Interested candidates may submit their resume RESPONSIBILITIESScholar Development and Care policies and implementationOversee the residential living and daily routines of the scholarsImplement and ensure compliance with policies to ensure the development and care of all scholarsBe responsible for the quality and achievement of scholars’ individualised care plansEnsure scholars are meeting their goals, following the Scholar’s Handbook, and are fairly reviewed for disciplinary misdemeanoursAble to assess for risks, needs, and facilitate case conferences with multiple stakeholders including families, schools, social workers, and counsellorsPlan, establish systems, and maintain collaborative partnerships with scholars’ families, schools, social workers, counsellors, and other programme partnersPrevent and manage crises, ensuring a safe and conducive environment for all scholarsConduct monitoring and evaluation annuallyContribute to policy-making by providing feedback to the Executive DirectorCapacity building and staff managementFormulate training and development priorities for the team in alignment with the organisation’s vision and missionOrganise shift/work duty rotation according to residential and programme needsRecruit, appraise, coach, and regularly supervise residential staff and Development and Care ExecutivesHold staff accountable to the organisational mission and policiesOrganisational leadershipMaintain accurate and timely recordsProduce reports to demonstrate effectiveness and outcomes of the departmentManage allocated budget in alignment with financial policiesSupport the Executive Director and lead =DREAMS programmes and other organisational activities such as donor visits, fundraising, or open housesCollaborate closely with other Leads, the Executive Director, and the Board of Directors to ensure success as a teamQUALIFICATIONSDiploma or degree in any field8-10 years of experience in developing youths in school and/or residential settings, with at least 6 years of experience managing a diverse teamPatient, committed, and values building authentic relationships with diverse communities, families, and professionalsExcellent coaching, communication, and leadership skillsDemonstrates a track record of managing change to achieve goalsStrong team playerMature, able to discern and make good judgementsExperience interacting with staff across different levels and ability to gain the confidence of senior management, schools, and community partnersStrategic clarity for social impact and outcomes while tactical and able to implement tasks with great successExperience working with children, youth, and low-income families is preferredOnly shortlisted candidates will be contacted.#J-18808-Ljbffr
