Japanese Speaking Demand and Supply Planner Our client, a well-known firm is currently looking for a Japanese Speaking Demand and Supply Planner. Brief Summary Join a dynamic team as a Demand and Supply Planner, where you'll partner with leadership to streamline forecasting and supply chain processes. Contribute to business success by ensuring product availability and optimal inventory management. Responsibilities Collaborate with the General Manager to drive the market S&OP process, delivering accurate forecasts and addressing budget discrepancies. Develop rolling demand forecasts using statistical models and market trends across various levels, ensuring alignment with business strategies. Manage the planning for product launches and re-launches while coordinating promotions, delistings, and phase-in/phase-out processes. Develop and generate monthly Forecast Accuracy & Fill Rate report. Conduct monthly Demand Reviews and monitor forecast accuracy to identify gaps and recommend corrective actions. Translate market demand into supply requirements, optimizing inventory levels and minimizing excess stock. Identify supply management challenges, propose solutions, and communicate improvements to enhance efficiency. Create comprehensive monthly reports on forecast accuracy and supply chain KPIs, working closely with cross-functional teams. Facilitate collaboration between local and regional/global planning teams in Japanese language, ensuring effective communication and swift resolution of supply chain disruptions. Requirements Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience. Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in forecasting, demand planning, and supply chain operations. Strong expertise in inventory planning and management, with a focus on ensuring product availability. Proven track record in cross-functional collaboration and effective communication within teams. Proficiency in Japanese to communicate and liaise with Japanese speaking counterparts and Japanese speaking clients.
