Overview
The Singapore Police Force (SPF) plays a critical role in keeping Singapore safe and secure with our mission to prevent, deter and detect crime. As Transport Officer (Transport Office and Case Exhibit Store) in CID, you will manage and maintain CID’s vehicle fleet, as well as the registration, storage and disposal of case exhibits, keeping track of vehicle exhibits, and provide other logistical support for the whole of CID.

Responsibilities
Manage and maintain CID’s vehicle fleet and track vehicle exhibits for the whole of CID, including registration, movements, storage and disposal of case exhibits.
Assist in the Case Exhibit Store to ensure exhibits are registered and stored properly to preserve the chain of evidence.
Provide logistics support for CID and report to Head Corporate Services (Head CS).
What you will be working on
The Transport Office maintains CID’s vehicle fleet to ensure operational readiness of the vehicles used in CID operations.
Ensure proper handling of case exhibits to preserve chain of evidence.
Manage CID’s vehicle fleet, track vehicle exhibits and other case exhibits, including registration, tracking movements, storage and disposal.
Qualifications
Good communication skills.
Good organizational skills.
Meticulous in planning, documentation and audit.
Proficient in the English language.
Proficient in MS Office and possess basic computer knowledge for day-to-day written communications; basic knowledge to operate inventory systems.
Prior experience in the logistics industry may be helpful.
