Job Title: Cloud Platform Migration Lead

About the Role:

The migration of clients' current platforms onto the government commercial cloud platform is a critical task requiring strategic leadership and technical expertise. The successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams to deliver this complex project, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive migration plan, aligning with business objectives and technology roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize migration requirements, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Lead technical teams in designing, developing, and testing cloud-based solutions, adhering to security and compliance regulations.
  • Maintain close communication with project sponsors and stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress and addressing concerns promptly.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect or equivalent role, with a strong background in cloud migration and technical leadership.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and associated tools and technologies.
