About The Division
The Division of Banking and Finance (B&F) is committed to research excellence. The faculty’s research is regularly published in top finance and actuarial/insurance journals. The undergraduate program offers two specialisations: Actuarial Science (ACS) and Risk Analytics (RA). The ACS programme is the only programme in Singapore accredited by the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and recognized by the Society of Actuaries as a Center of Actuarial Excellence. The division is launching a new Quantitative Finance track. The Insurance Risk & Finance Research Centre (IRFRC) sponsors and directs primary research on insurance-related risk in Asia Pacific.
Requirements
Full Professor: demonstrate significant achievements and leadership in research, teaching, industry outreach, and programme development; substantial contributions to the profession with strong international visibility.
Associate Professor: established record of excellence in research and teaching with significant industry collaboration experience.
Assistant Professor: proven track record of excellence in research and teaching, with strong interest in collaborating with the insurance industry.
For all ranks, preference will be given to Fellows of the Institute or Society of Actuaries in the UK, Australia, Canada, or the US, or those progressing toward actuarial professional credentials.
