Description Overview Join to apply for the Snr Associate Engineer Facilities role at GlobalFoundries . For more information, visit What You Will Do Ensure facilities systems operate with minimum downtime and zero incidents. Carry out facilities plant operation and maintenance, including troubleshooting, corrective, breakdown and ad-hoc maintenance. Uptown/maintenance activities related to UPW, M&E operations, SCADA monitoring from FMS of cleanroom facilities and maintaining a contamination-free manufacturing environment. Carry out Preventive Maintenance for Mechanical, Electrical, UPW, WWTP, Burn Box, and exhaust ducting systems, with logging. Supervise and coordinate vendors on Preventive Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance, Breakdown Maintenance and Ad-hoc Maintenance. Assist Engineers on mechanical/electrical systems and troubleshoot items such as Fire alarm and protection system, VSD, UPS, Emergency genset, and process exhaust systems. Assist with general mechanical repair works (motors, pumps bearing replacement, pump seal replacement, heat exchanger cleaning, pump overhaul) and electrical repair works (FFU, MCCB replacement, VSD capacitors, cooling fans replacement). Assist with UPW, WWTP, repairs (RO pump, reclaim pump, loop pump, sump pump, diaphragm pump bearing replacement) and corrosion control activities (piping thickness monitoring, piping replacement, painting). Specialize in one M&E, UPW, WWTP, or STP system to improve PM activities and provide suggestions on system design. Attend all required GlobalFoundries compulsory courses and in-house vendor training. Participate in weekly meetings for job planning, issue resolution, and knowledge sharing. Prepare daily Permit to Work, verify on-site, and ensure good housekeeping before and after maintenance. Ensure safety regulations are complied with. Assist Engineers in upkeep and maintenance of spare parts, inventory audits and CMMS work.
