WHAT is this role about?As a Podcast Producer, you will be part of the team responsible for putting together engaging, thoughtful, and entertaining content for two shows: "The Mothership Podcast with XQ" and "Help Desk". The role will require the producer to be involved in all stages of podcast production, from ideation through to publishing, including contributing to the growth strategy for the shows. Here's a snippet of what you can expect to be doing on a day-to-day basis: Episode Ideation & Guest Booking: Identifying potential interviewees for Mothership's podcasts and spotting trending topics of discussion. Podcast Production: operating equipment required in the filming and recording of the podcast. Video Editing: piecing together the final episode as well as shorter clips that are published on Mothership's platforms Project Ownership: Developing content and branding strategies for the shows and innovating new concepts. WHO should consider this role?We are looking for a candidate who has a passion for podcasts (duh) and long-form interviews. From a technical perspective, you should be comfortable handling video and audio recording equipment and demonstrate competency with tools like Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop.
