Lead AI Engineer

Overview Join to apply for the Lead AI Engineer role at BJAK . This is a remote role based in Singapore. You will collaborate with our headquarters in Malaysia and regional product, data, and engineering teams. You’ll report to the Head of AI, work hands-on as a senior individual contributor, and help grow a lean, high-performance AI team by mentoring, coaching, and hiring. What You’ll Do Design, train, and deploy production-grade ML models for business-critical use cases Collaborate with product, data, and engineering teams to define and execute AI solutions Lead technical decision-making on model design, deployment pipelines, and infrastructure Own the full model lifecycle — from data prep and training to evaluation, monitoring, and retraining Mentor junior AI engineers through code reviews, project planning, and guidance Drive the hiring process: screen candidates, evaluate technical fit, and onboard top talent Champion best practices in experimentation, model development, and production AI Evaluate new tools, frameworks, and advancements in AI to stay ahead You’ll Thrive Here If You...
