Finance Assistant Job Description

This is a temporary finance assistant position that will be approximately 6 months in duration.

The successful candidate will assist the finance team with various tasks and projects. Key responsibilities include:

  • Costing and Financial Record-Keeping : Assist with costing and financial record-keeping to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial information.
  • Month-End Closing and Reconciliations : Support month-end closing and reconciliations to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Cost Reports and Variance Analysis : Prepare cost reports and analyze variances to identify areas for improvement.
  • Documentation and Ad-Hoc Finance Tasks : Maintain documentation and handle ad-hoc finance tasks as assigned by the finance team.

Key Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Experience in costing and basic finance operations a plus
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Detail-oriented and organized
