Main Purpose of the Job: This role will be seconded into the Client's internal team and therefore fully client facing. The primary focus of this role is to support the delivery of front-end planning/program management services to a major client providing governance and assurance across their new build Data Center programme in the region.Job Description (Key Responsibilities): Responsible for the successful delivery of project management within specified schedule and budget while meeting client’s requirement. Ability to manage and provide reporting oversight on multiple data center projects across APAC region. Lead programme level reporting based on inputs and review of project level reporting. Coordinate with Client and internal/external stakeholders to deliver programme objectives. Collaborate with design teams to ensure that construction activities align with the approved design plans and specifications. Strong stakeholder management skills, working with Client's teams and appointed professional teams in different markets. Oversee implementation and adherence to Client's standard project controls processes and governance across the programme. Review standard processes, identify gaps and opportunities for improvement and recommend implementation. Provide technical support and training to in-country project teams to ensure understanding of processes and governance and to establish expectations. Willingness to travel 10-25% within the APAC region. Any other ad hoc duties as assigned. Job Requirements & Person Specification (Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Behaviours) KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Familiar with building plans submission procedures and approvals, construction sequencing and handing over process. Relevant working experience in the built environment sector and proven project management abilities. Ability to lead and manage a project team. Familiar with building contracts such as SIA, REDAS. Effective communication skills. Maintain strong relationships with clients/consultants to facilitate communication, provide updates, and address concerns. CREDENTIALS AND EXPERIENCE Degree in Project Management, Building / Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Civil & Structural or Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or other relevant qualifications. 7 – 10 years’ experience in construction industry such as DC or Oil & Gas or Infrastructure or Mission-Critical Projects.
