We are seeking a qualified and proactiveTechnical Superintendent to join our client’s technical team in Singapore . This role requires the incumbent to have sailed on Tanker vessels and currently overseeing a fleet of tanker vessels onshore.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day technical operations of assigned tankers and/or gas carriers.
  • Monitor vessel performance, fuel efficiency, and machinery health.
  • Plan and supervise routine maintenance, dry-dockings, and repairs.
  • Coordinate with onboard crew and ensure compliance with planned maintenance systems (PMS).
  • Liaise with classification societies, flag states, and third-party service providers.
  • Manage budgets for assigned vessels, track expenditures, and control costs.
  • Investigate technical incidents and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.
  • Assist in the development and execution of energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Chief Engineer, COC Class 1
  • Experience working on ME-C Engines
  • 3-5 Years working experience onshore as a Technical Superintendent
  • Completed several drydocks
  • Proficient in MS Office and vessel management software
  • Willingness to travel for vessel inspections, audits, and dry-dock supervision.
