Description Responsibilities Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, needs and budget constraintsCreate detailed floor plans and layouts that optimize the functionalityGenerate creative and unique design concepts that align with the client's vision and project objectivesPresent design ideas through mood boards, sketches, and renderingsDetermine cost of completion and project requirements in the budgeting phaseReport to General Manager regarding the project design, progress, budget, cost and other issuesRecommend furniture, lighting, and fixtures that complement the overall design concept and meet the client's requirementsCoordinate with contractors, worker, and vendors to ensure seamless project executionSource and specify materials and furnishings from various suppliersDevelop and manage project budgets, providing cost estimates for materials, labor, and other project-related expensesIdentify cost-effective solutions without compromising design qualityUsing creativity to generate new concepts, plan spaces, create designs, and create building plans that can be manufacturedProject management for renovation works including site supervision and project coordinationCommunicate design concepts effectively through presentations, using a variety of visual aids such as 2D and 3D renderingsStay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and new materials through continuous learning and professional developmentJob Requirements At least Diploma in Interior Design or related fieldAt least 10 years design working experienceAble work independently with minimal supervisionProficiency in design software and tools such as AutoCAD, Photoshop, Sketch up, 2D and 3D visualization, Corona Rendering, Vray Rendering, SketchUpExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAble to work under pressure and with a sense of urgency to meet tight deadlinesA team player who able to work well in a collaborative, team-oriented environmentCreative thinking and problem-solving skillsSelf-motivated, proactive, and results-orientedWillingness to travel for site visitsWilling to travel islandwide with own transportation arrangementWilling to work beyond office hours due to client needs or site visitsWilling to take on new roles and work as the company grows6 days work weekWe are regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified. #J-18808-Ljbffr
