Overview
What the role is: You are responsible for creating and maintaining a repository of research portfolios to facilitate strategic communications planning as well as formulate long-term information trends for presentation and analysis.
Responsibilities
Assess effects of strategic communication campaigns on public perception
Analyse how perceptions and behaviours are shaped by various influences
Incorporate existing and emerging research tools and technologies to better sense-make public sentiments and issues
Strengthen predictive capabilities and analyses
Guide actions and responses based on data-driven insights
Challenge: Deciphering good and bad data/information in a saturated, fast-paced environment
Qualifications
Education in Social Sciences, Mass Communication, or Science and Technology (Information and Communication Technology, Digital Media, Information Science, etc.)
Experience in the fields of media, marketing research, or info-comm technology is preferred
Active interest in Singapore's political, defence and security developments
Keen awareness of current affairs
Acute awareness of regional and international media environment
Strong command of spoken and written English
Proficiency in a vernacular language is advantageous
Applicants with no experience may apply
