Experience in conducting the inclining experiment, light ship survey, ship check. Handle contract-bidding engineering specifications and enquiry. Monitor the progress of drawings, documents and purchase specifications. Perform quality assurance check of drawings. Familiar with Marine classification society regulation and steel design code. Liaise with Production Department to resolve site problems. Liaise with Project Management Department to ensure on-time delivery of project. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the marine/offshore industry. Strong knowledge of marine vessel design principles and offshore structural requirements. In-depth understanding of engineering software tools such as AutoCAD, Stability Software, and other relevant design tools. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to use engineering design software efficiently. Familiarity with industry regulations and classification society standards. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and supervisory skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate team members. Ability to work effectively both in a team environment and independently. Willingness to work on-site, including onboard inspections and surveys.
