Job Overview This role is a member of the Shift Team reporting to the Team Leader and supports the manufacturing activities, including equipment set-up, troubleshooting and maintenance of machines. Responsibilities Operate on machine/process units as assigned. Perform trouble-shooting for machine/equipment failures to meet production targets and quality standards and/or specifications. Perform Preventive Maintenance (Cleaning, Service, Replace). Record and monitor machine or process parameters and take containment and corrective actions if necessary to ensure that the machine or process remains under control. Conduct sampling inspection of parts as per Quality plan to ensure products are within specifications; handle disposition of non-conforming products as required by the Quality plan. Support Team Leader to execute changes and projects within the production area and ensure compliance with EHS requirements, quality, cost and schedule. Perform product/machine changeover on the line including clearing previous lot parts, material changes, tool/die changes and minor machine setup; enter necessary information into the machine MES satellite. Duties & Responsibilities Coordinate with Manufacturing Assistant on: maintaining housekeeping and cleaning of machine and work area; updating machine MES satellite with correct component lot numbers and shift output; managing material handling activities including packing/unpacking, loading/unloading; supporting tasks. Safety & Compliance Safety and ISO14001 Environmental accountability: maintain a safe, healthy and environmentally-friendly workplace by observing company rules and procedures; participate in activities that promote recycling, replacement and reduction of material usage. Safety & health accountability: attend safety programs and training to ensure work tasks comply with safety guidelines and SOPs. Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) accountability: observe GMP rules and procedures. Apply SOP and/or SWI in daily operations. Observe the BD Code of Ethics and report incidents/accidents, near misses, deviations from plan, and participate in investigations when required. Qualifications Primary/entry-level experience in manufacturing environment preferred. Ability to operate and troubleshoot machines, perform basic maintenance, and monitor process parameters.
