Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive environmental, health, and safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with local and corporate regulations.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of the wafer fab facility to identify and address potential hazards and risks.
Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees at all levels to promote awareness and compliance with safety protocols and procedures.
Manage the company's incident reporting and investigation process, including conducting thorough root cause analyses and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement engineering controls and other measures to mitigate risks and improve safety performance.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to EHS activities, including regulatory reporting requirements.
Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and external auditors, ensuring timely and accurate responses to inquiries and requests for information.
Lead and Chair monthly EHS committee inspections and meetings which will be attended by various department leads, maintaining the accountability of closure of safety findings.
Manage the company’s Fire Drills and ERT (Emergency Response Team) system to ensure the personnel are well trained and responsible to their duties.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in environmental science, occupational health and safety, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in environmental, health, and safety management, preferably in a semiconductor manufacturing or similar high-tech industry.
Candidates with Safety Officer Level C certifications are strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of relevant EHS regulations and standards, including but not limited to OSHA and WSH requirements.
Proven experience developing and implementing EHS programs and initiatives in a manufacturing environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence employees at all levels of the organization.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct thorough incident investigations and root cause analyses.
Demonstrates the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
