Business Expansion Specialist

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and resourceful self-starter to establish business opportunities in the APAC region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with management to set regional business development strategies, goals, and deliverables to align with the company's objectives.
  • Formulate periodic strategic work plans and/or related policies.
  • Champion growth initiatives by leading efforts to expand the company's footprint within the region.
  • Keep abreast of new developments in the industry and competitive strategies at a regional level.
  • Continuous improvement in self-research, learning, and readiness on new markets, products, and solutions.
  • Identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services.
  • Follow-up on marketing leads and secure potential sales opportunities.
  • Build valuable connections and expose yourself to diverse cultures.
  • Establish and maintain long-lasting relationships and networks with clients.
  • Identify client challenges, business needs, and objectives to structure feasible solutions/proposals.
  • Develop and refine negotiation and pitching strategies by keeping up to date with best practices.
  • Manage, adapt, and overcome any challenges that arise.
  • Promote the company's profile and enhance its brand by participating/coordinating in trade fairs, exhibitions, events, or relevant business development initiatives.
  • Perform meaningful data analysis based on a KPI-driven approach to infer consequences that are implemented within and beyond the venture.
  • Present sales, revenue, and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management.
  • Regularly assess and review sales methodology and processes.
  • Prepare presentations, proposals, quotations, sales agreements, and invoices for customers.
  • Render after-sales support, including coordinating across functional teams to keep project schedules and progress on track.
  • Gather and analyze feedback from customers for improvement in products and services.
