Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong MS SQL operation support skills and a proven track record in managing platform servers and databases in a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Should have minimum 5 years experience in MS SQL Database Administration.
Manage and support platform servers (Windows & UNIX).
Perform database administration tasks, including installation, hardening, upgrades, and patching of MS SQL AlwaysON AG.
Provide backup and EMC storage support.
Offer support for additional databases, including MongoDB, PostgresDB, and OracleDB (preferred).
Handle a server count of fewer than 200.
Develop and execute acceptance test plans and test cases.
May lead the training of clients and peers.
Requirements:
Strong expertise in MS SQL operation support.
Hands-on experience with MS SQL AlwaysON AG installation and maintenance.
Familiarity with MongoDB, PostgresDB, and OracleDB is an added advantage.
Ability to work independently and manage database-related tasks effectively.
