Job Description

You will plan and lead IT audit engagements. This includes planning the audit, designing and testing controls, presenting findings, writing reports, and following up on remediation. Key responsibilities are:

  • Evaluate internal control design and effectiveness of key business and IT controls through walkthroughs and testing.
  • Manage remediation activities for identified deficiencies.
  • Plan and scope activities for in-scope IT systems.
  • Prepare control design documentation, process narratives, and flowcharts.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, lead discussions, and monitor progress.
  • Build relationships with first and second lines of defense to identify risks.
  • Supervise third-party audit support teams where applicable.
  • Report activities and results to management.
  • Participate in major IT/business initiatives and advise on change management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • At least 4 years of IT audit experience.
  • Knowledge of COBIT, ISO27001, ITIL, MAS guidelines, or similar standards.
  • Experience in IT controls review and cybersecurity.
  • Ability to work independently with good communication and work ethics.
  • Experience in data analytics and relevant tools in financial/insurance sectors is a plus.
  • Professional certifications like CISA, CISSP are highly preferred.
