What the role is
As a support staff, your role is to support policies and schemes in specific functional areas.
What you will be working on
You will be responsible for assisting the Lecturers in the conduct of practical lessons, guiding the students in their practical lessons and monitoring the students’ projects. You are also responsible for ensuring that the workshops meet the safety regulations and that the training materials such as consumables, tools, and equipment in the workshops/labs under your charge are available and in good working condition for training activities. You are expected to carry out periodic maintenance and servicing of tools, equipment/machines, training vehicles and keep proper history records of the equipment/machines/training vehicles. You are to manage inventory/stocks for the workshops/labs under your charge and be involved in procurement.
What we are looking for
- Preferably 2 years of work experience
- A team player who is able to multi-task and work independently
