Retail Operations Manager
(Part-time) to oversee the operations of our charity-based community mart 2 days a week. This role is vital in ensuring efficient operations while promoting a welcoming environment for our registered residents and volunteers. The ideal candidate will have experience in retail management and a strong commitment to community service.
Key Responsibilities
Manage mart operations, ensuring a smooth shopping experience for residents.
Ensure that inventory is stocked, organized, and displayed properly.
Address residents' concerns or feedback promptly and empathetically.
Monitor inventory levels and restocking of inventory.
Conduct regular stock audits to minimize waste and shrinkage.
Supervise, and schedule volunteers and staff to maintain smooth operations.
Ensure compliance with all safety, hygiene, and operational policies.
Maintain accurate records of residents’ transactions and monthly credit allocations.
Qualifications
Diploma in Business Administration/ Marketing/Retails or equivalent
Proven experience in retail operations, preferably in a community or non-profit setting.
Strong people management skills with a passion for community engagement.
Good knowledge of inventory control and retail systems.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) or other relevant software.
Prior experience working with charitable organizations.
Multilingual abilities to better serve a diverse community.

Community Mart at Stirling Road
Every Wednesday and Sunday
