What the role is: You will be part of the Port and industry integration Planning team that formulates and implements the port-industry integration plan to fulfil the strategies set out under the Port Master Plan for Singapore’s Next Generation Port (NGP). Degree in technical engineering with at least 5 years of experience in the planning and development of infrastructure including solar farms, substations, submarine cables, and charging stations. Experience in planning and development of large-scale submarine cables (electrical and communication cables) would be an added advantage. What you will be working on: The key responsibilities include: Planning of electrical substations and charging stations for electrical harbour crafts at public landing facilities and offshore islands/anchorages respectively. Planning of energy storage systems for marine facilities. Liaising with EMA and SPPG on works required for upgrading of substation. Planning of submarine energy cable in consideration of optimal routes and minimising energy loss. What we are looking for: Candidates with at least 5 years of experience in the planning and development of infrastructure including solar farms, substations, submarine cables, and charging stations. Experience in planning and development of large-scale submarine cables (electrical and communication cables) would be an added advantage. Good verbal and written communication skills. Detail-oriented.
