Overview
Dover Court International School in Singapore is seeking an inspirational Physical Education teacher for Years 7 to 13. The successful candidate will contribute to a thriving sports program within an inclusive school community that supports high-quality teaching and learning.
Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality PE teaching for Years 7–13, including experience with GCSE PE and IB DP Sports Exercise and Health Science (SEHS) where possible.
Contribute to the school’s thriving sports program and culture, including participation in local and invitational competitions and development of student athletes.
Collaborate with colleagues to plan, assess, and develop inclusive lessons that challenge all learners.
Engage in pastoral care and wellbeing initiatives as part of a broad co-curricular and school community.
Contribute to professional learning, reflective practice, and ongoing professional growth.
Support safeguarding and welfare procedures in line with school policy and legal requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
Passion for high-quality teaching and driving improvement in learning outcomes.
Reflective practitioner with effective collaboration skills.
Experience or strong interest in basketball and volleyball is desirable.
Ability to contribute to a dynamic, inclusive school environment and the wider co-curricular program.
School Context and Offer
Facilities include two sports halls, a 9-a-side floodlit 3G pitch, a multipurpose outdoor court, and a 20m pool. The curriculum spans an English National Curriculum context for Years 7–8, Edexcel GCSE PE for Years 9–11, and IB DP SEHS. The school is part of FOBISIA and ACSIS and participates in regional tournaments and events.
