Job Title: Master Craftsman

A highly skilled Master Craftsman is required to design, develop, and produce high-quality plastic moulds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test new plastic moulds to ensure optimal performance and quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address moulding issues, optimize processes, and improve product quality.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on moulding equipment, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of mould components and workpieces to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive records of mould designs, testing results, and maintenance activities.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, management, and clients to provide timely updates on project progress and challenges.

Requirements:

  • Strong educational background in a related field, such as precision engineering or tool design.
  • Proven experience in mould design, development, and production, including hands-on experience with various moulding machines.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings, understand manufacturing processes, and make informed decisions based on data analysis.
