The Elite Job is seeking a talented and creative Freelance Photographer & Photo Editor to join our dynamic team. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, capturing stunning visuals that align with our clients needs and branding. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to tell compelling stories through their photography and editing.
Key Responsibilities
Capture high-quality images for various projects, including events, portraits, products, and lifestyle shoots.
Edit and retouch photos using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom).
Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and ensure that the final product meets their expectations.
Manage and organize a digital portfolio of work, including backups of all images.
Stay current with photography trends and techniques to continuously enhance creative output.
Assist in the development of creative concepts and project proposals as needed.
Meet deadlines and maintain a professional demeanor in all client interactions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Proficient in photography and photo editing software, particularly Adobe Creative Suite.
Strong portfolio showcasing a range of photography styles and techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Creative mindset with a strong aesthetic sense and attention to detail.
Familiarity with various photography equipment, including DSLR and mirrorless cameras.
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of professional photography experience, preferably in a freelance capacity.
Proven experience in photo editing and retouching.
Experience in various photography niches (e.g., portrait, product, event) is a plus.
Working Hours
This is a freelance position with flexible working hours. Candidates should be available to work evenings and weekends as needed, depending on project requirements.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong organizational skills to manage timelines and project deliverables.
Ability to adapt to changing client needs and feedback.
Knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing strategies is advantageous.
Familiarity with current photography trends and techniques.
