Job Opportunity: Childcare Cleaner and Cook

This is a fulfilling role where you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and healthy environment for children in a preschool or childcare setting. As a Childcare Cleaner and Cook, your primary focus will be on ensuring the well-being of our young students.

The ideal candidate should have relevant skills such as cleaning, cooking and quality control. They should also possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with colleagues and parents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cooking simple meals for students
  • Maintaining kitchen hygiene, washing dishes and ensuring food safety
  • Sweeping and mopping floors daily
  • Vacuuming classroom floors, cleaning and washing classroom tables, chairs and equipment
  • Ensuring toilets and hand wash basins are stocked with toilet paper and hand soap
  • Emptying waste, rubbish and recyclables in designated disposal areas

Requirements:

  • Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
  • Basic cooking skills and knowledge of food safety
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts and weekends
