Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Relationship Manager to join our team. As a Relationship Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and cultivating relationships with clients.

Your responsibilities will include sourcing clients and driving revenue growth. This role provides a unique opportunity for career advancement, with the potential for grooming into various positions within the Finance industry.

  • This includes developing and initiating sales strategies to acquire new clients and grow the business in contract/project financing, pre and post factoring.
  • Actively sourcing and identifying good leads for prospecting purposes.
  • Constantly striving to achieve sales targets and generate revenue growth.
  • Providing guidance to junior Relationship Managers on performing cold callings, managing leads generated by referral agents, and meeting potential prospects to assess their needs and work out viable financing solutions.

Responsibilities

  • To perform credit assessments on client applications to ensure they meet basic credit requirements and comply with business operational processes and controls.
  • To write credit memos on proposed financing solutions for submission to the credit committee and management for approval.
  • Manage and service a portfolio of clients to build strong relationships and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
  • Network with referral agents and business associations/counterparts to build relationships and secure meaningful leads.

Key Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience working in a financial institution or similar experience in the lending industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
