Part-Time Lecturer for DV2002 Illustration for Designers
The School of Art, Design and Media (ADM) at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, invites qualified candidates to apply as Part-time Lecturer for
DV2002 Illustration for Designers.
The Part-time Lecturer is expected to teach an undergraduate course commencing in August 2025.
This intermediate level, studio-based course will introduce students to illustrative visual communication, placing emphasis on personal investigation and discovery through experimentation with a variety of media and techniques. Students will be encouraged to create a body of stylised and conceptual illustrations, whilst considering their practical application. This learning provides a holistic approach in informing their visual voice and underpins the creative strategies applied in further creative practice.
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidates should have at least a Masters and/or PhD in Visual Communication or a related field with a track record of production and creative practice in media. Any past teaching experience at the Undergraduate Level is preferred. Candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Visual Communication and sufficient and relevant industry experience may also be considered in exceptional cases.
