Job Overview
Music Sales and Centre Administrators are responsible for the retail of musical instruments, accessories, lessons, and books. Main Responsibilities
  • Retail of music instruments, related accessories, lessons, and books.
  • Perform student-related administrative duties such as scheduling lessons, registration for exams, etc.
  • Handle cashiering functions including issuing receipts for transactions.
  • Opening and closing of the school/shop.
  • Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and walk-in customers.
  • Stock taking and ensuring inventory is up to date.
  • Perform basic accounting duties as required.
  • Ensure general housekeeping duties are completed.
  • Organize stock and maintain attractive display setups.
  • Undertake other operational ad-hoc duties such as basic music instrument servicing.
Requirements
  • Availability to work weekends is essential.
  • Interest in music or music knowledge is encouraged/preferred.
  • No minimum qualifications or work experience required.
  • You need to be cheerful and energetic.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Google Sheets.
  • Long-term commitment to the role is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students, parents, coworkers, and teachers effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Additional skills such as photo-editing, social media, or graphic design are preferable.
