Backend Engineer, User Safety and Content Moderation Team (Relocation Offered)BandLab Technologies, a division of Caldecott Music Group, designs and develops innovative tools and services for music creators worldwide. We're seeking an experienced backend developer to build a healthy and safe platform for our users by combating spam, bots, and privacy threats. Location Singapore or Remote (global)Key Responsibilities Software development based on high‐level requirements: estimating, coding, code review, performance optimization, and documentation. Collaborate with team members on design and implementation. Communicate with other teams during analysis and development. Design and implement RESTful APIs. Write understandable, testable, and maintainable code. Work on analytical systems to detect and eliminate spam‐related threats quickly. Develop services for analyzing text, images, and user behavior to flag potential spammers. Qualifications At least 5 years of software engineering experience. Hands‐on experience building backend systems for trust, safety, and abuse prevention at scale. Proficiency in SQL, experience with RDBMS and NoSQL. Understanding of software engineering best practices: unit testing, CI/CD, source control. Ability to work in a disciplined Agile environment and deliver regularly. Preferred Skills Strong knowledge of .NET/C# and ASP.NET Core. Experience with any cloud provider: AWS, Azure, GCP. Proficiency in Azure Log Analytics Kusto, Google BigQuery standard SQL, or AWS CloudWatch Logs Insights. Understanding of CQRS and Event Sourcing. Benefits Healthcare and dental insurance.
