As a Physiotherapist at ATHOS Performance, you will play a vital role in improving the lives of our diverse patient population. Our clinic takes a holistic approach to physiotherapy, centering our practice around exercise as a powerful tool for recovery, injury prevention, and overall physical well-being. You will work closely with patients to provide comprehensive physiotherapy services, tailored treatment plans, and empowering education. Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical condition, movement patterns, and functional limitations to develop personalized treatment plans.
Utilize manual therapy and exercise-based interventions as the core of your physiotherapy practice, focusing on optimizing physical function, recovery, and overall well-being.
Continuously monitor and evaluate patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans accordingly to ensure optimal outcomes.
Educate patients on exercise principles, injury prevention strategies, proper biomechanics, and postural awareness to empower them to take an active role in their own health and performance.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Stay up to date with current research, trends, and advancements in the field of exercise-based physiotherapy to enhance your knowledge and contribute to the continuous improvement of our services.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy or a related field.
AHPC registered Physiotherapist.
At least 2 years in assessing and treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.
Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics, with a focus on optimizing physical function and well-being through exercise.
Proficiency in designing and implementing exercise programs for rehabilitation, injury prevention, and overall physical fitness.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
A passion for promoting health and well-being through exercise-based physiotherapy.
Strong organisational and time management abilities, with the capability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
