Job Position:

Electrical Draftsperson

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Draftsperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong electrical installation knowledge and relevant project site work experience.

  • The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be proficient in AUTOCAD 2D/3D software.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Project Team in studying tender documents, preparing material lists, and project costing for tender submission.
  • Prepare high-quality AUTOCAD drawings, including electrical SLDs, schematic diagrams, layout plans, and other related documentation.
  • Liaise with Engineers and Supervisors to ensure requirements are met and projects are completed on time.
  • Develop and maintain technical skills through ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering - Mechanical / Electrical or equivalent.
  • Excellent English proficiency (speaking and writing).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a construction or engineering environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good PC skills and proficiency in Autocad 2D/3D and Microsoft Office.
  • Willings to learn, positive attitude, and self-discipline.
