An exceptional opportunity awaits at a leading global consulting firm We are seeking an expert in Data Architecture to spearhead data transformation initiatives across Southeast Asia. If you have consulting experience in data & analytics for financial services or are a senior data architect in-house within a financial institution, this could be your next big move

Please note: This role requires significant travel (70-80%).

Responsibilities

Head Data Architecture Strategy – Design and implement end-to-end data solutions, ensuring scalability, security & performance.

Client Engagement & Consultation – Work closely with clients to understand business needs and create cutting-edge data architecture strategies. Provide expert guidance on data governance & best practices.

Data Integration & Migration – Oversee seamless integration of disparate data systems, including legacy platforms, cloud-native solutions & third-party sources.

Cloud & Big Data Technologies – Design & deploy modern cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, etc.).

Collaboration & Leadership – Lead and mentor high-performing teams of data engineers & architects, ensuring smooth execution and high-quality delivery.

Governance & Compliance – Establish data governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations & security standards.

Continuous Innovation – Stay ahead of industry trends, recommending new technologies & methodologies to enhance efficiency & client value.

Project Oversight & Delivery – Manage complex data architecture projects within agreed timelines & budgets.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).

10+ years of experience in Data Architecture/Data Engineering, with 5+ years in a leadership role.

Strong cloud-based data platform experience (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) & big data technologies.

Deep knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes & distributed architectures.

Familiarity with data privacy/security regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).

Expertise in Python, Java, Scala, SQL for data engineering & analytics.

Experience with data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker – a plus).

Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Strong problem-solving skills in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.

Competitive Salary (SGD 280K – 330K) + Bonus
