SEA Payroll Specialist

Job Title: SEA Payroll Specialist Summary: The SEA payroll specialist for the Asia Pacific region is a key role within the global Total Rewards and Payroll Operations team. The specialist will work with the APAC Total Rewards and Payroll Operations Leader to provide with Payroll Operations services of SEA region (Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam)Responsibilities Include: • Manage & administer Payroll activities to ensure compliance and accuracy monthly Seek or identify the potential opportunities of process digitization opportunities within Payroll. Resolve payroll discrepancies and be proactive enough to escalate any discrepancies within the Governance timeframes. Create/update and maintain the payroll standard operating procedures. Responsible for Time Attendance System maintenance Work closely with HR Solutions Team to document processes and transit routine administrative work. Assist with HRA ticketing system raised within the SEA region that can be solved without requiring on-site presence. Support for annual Total Rewards processes, on an as needed basis. Act as a backup for APAC Payroll processes, on an as needed basis. Qualifications: The following are required for the role Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience. Requires 3+ years Payroll Operations related experience. Requires advanced level of proficiency in MS Excel, including the ability to use pivot tables, write advanced formulas, and use Excel as a modeling tool. Solutions and client service-oriented, with an emphasis on problem solving. Experience working in a highly matrixed environment. Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work With strong oral and written communication skills in English and local language Preferred Qualifications: Working knowledge of SEA region experiences would be a plus. Experience working in with large scale consulting i.e. Mercer, Aon and WTW or payroll outsourcing provider i.e. ADP, Adecco and manpower.
