Roles & Responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Deploy, Configure, Manage and Troubleshoot Active Directory
  • Deploy, Configure, Manage and Troubleshoot Exchange 2016 and Exchange Online.
  • Experience on veritas netbackup - backup and restore process along with troubleshooting skills.
  • Deploy, Configure, Manage and Troubleshoot Esxi 7.0 and Virtual Servers running Windows Servers
  • Provide a point of escalation and support to the L1 Engineers.
  • Participate in weekend maintenance activities, as required.
  • Perform routine system administration duties in a Windows Active Directory environment
  • Monitor servers and troubleshoot problems.
  • Produce appropriate documentation for server deployment, configuration, and related processes.
  • Install and configure and maintain server operating systems and repair server hardware VMWare VSphere 6.x

Requirements:

  • In depth knowledge and experience on Windows servers (2016/2019)Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File & Print servers, MS Cluster, Server backup, AD Federated Services & Windows PowerShell.
  • Server Software / Hardware Management

Experience or significant exposure to any of the following technologies:

VMWare VSphere and its features (vMotion, HA, DRS etc...) ESXi deployments:

➢VM creation, templates, snapshots and VM backup

➢Administer and support VMware platform.

➢Maintain appropriate documentation on virtualization.

➢Provide a point of escalation and support to the L1 system engineers Monitor ESXi servers and troubleshoot problems.

➢Produce appropriate documentation for application deployment, configuration, and related processes.

➢Responsible for the operations and upkeep of the private and shared virtualized environments.

➢Work closely with other virtualization engineers on new implementations as well as maintaining the current environments.

➢Act as a technical escalation point
